Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. West Java Police along with all media editorials in the region swore a safe General Elections. The swore was called in West Java HQ, Sumedang on Tuesday (10/31/2023). In that swore, several media editorials were seen gathered to jointly pledges the 2024 safe elections. They were then said the vow, led by West Java Police Chief Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus and Regional Commander of Siliwangi Major General Erwin Djatniko. West Java Police PR Chief, Grand Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo says the declaration is part of PR activity which aims to declare their commitment publicly in realizing 2024 safe elections. “One of democracy pillars is media and we hoped public information during election would also acts cooling system and does not provoke anyone,” pray Ibrahim. Media also expected to act for balancing negative news with other news. Ibrahim then explains in upholding the declaration, sub-regional police would also act as the spear head backed by the regional police. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
