inp.polri.go.id – West Java Regional Police with PT. Persib Bandung Dignity (PBB) or the match committee agreed on several measures to maintain the security during Persib's match at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc., said that, according to the results of coordination and recommendations from the Ministry of PUPR, the GBLA Stadium will be used for Persib matches in Liga 1 for the 2022/2023 season.
"For the capacity of the stadium, we recommend to the committee to only use the 75% of the maximum capacity of the stadium, which is to comply with the current restricitions," said Head of Public Relations, at the West Java Police Headquarters, Wednesday (20/7/22).
The organizing committee has also agreed that tickets will only be sold online.
From the results of coordination with the organizing committee, online ticket sales will be using the PeduliLindungi application, with the requirements of a person can only buy one ticket.
"And people is also required to have a booster vaccine, otherwise the application will automatically reject the purchases," explained the Head of Public Relations.
Police personnel will later carry out direct supervision on the field to ensure that there are no brokers selling tickets offline outside the stadium area.
"We will also patrols around the stadium to prevent any brokers selling ticket, and officers will take action if someone is found selling or buying tickets outside the stadium," said the Head of Public Relations.
Not only that, in order to maintain order, there will be restrictions on several areas to prevent any illegal spectators.
He appealed to the public and supporters who do not have tickets not to come to the stadium.
"Supporters who do not have tickets can watch from home via TV, in order to reduce the volume of the crowd around the stadium," explained the Head of Public Relations.
He hopes that the support from the community will help the match to be able run smoothly.
