"Currently, the floodwaters have receded, residents and joint officers from the Garut Resort Police, the National Armed Forces, and the Garut Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), a team of volunteers, and residents worked together to evacuate mud and stone materials carried by the flash flood. With this flood disaster, I urge residents always to be vigilant in anticipating subsequent flash floods, and I hope residents are reminded to evacuate immediately if the river water overflows," concluded the Garut Resort Police Chief.
