inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The West Java Regional Police are preparing sanctions for three of their officers involved in the viral incident involving a Toyota Alphard car running a red light at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout in Central Jakarta.

Head of Public Relations for the West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Hendra Rochmawan, stated that the three officers had undergone an examination by the West Java Regional Police's Professional and Security Division .

"The West Java Regional Police's Professional and Security Division has conducted an examination of these three officers. Sufficient evidence was found of violations of the INP's Professional Code of Ethics, as stipulated in Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022," Hendra said in Bandung, West Java, on Saturday (7/25/2026).

Hendra explained that the results of the examination will be followed up through a hearing by the INP Professional Code of Ethics Commission to determine sanctions for the three officers involved.

"The results will be followed up through the code of ethics process and the National Police Professional Code of Ethics hearing," he added.

Hendra also apologized to the security officers involved in the altercation with three of his officers during the incident.

"We apologize to the security guards at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout for the arrogant and inappropriate behavior of the three West Java Regional Police officers," he said.

He stated that although a peaceful resolution has been reached between the two parties, the process of enforcing discipline and the code of ethics remains ongoing.

"The peace settlement between the parties does not eliminate the code of ethics sanctions against the three officers, First Inspector DG, First Brigadier BS, and First Brigadier RPW," he said.
