The Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Criminal Investigation Agency on Friday (7/24/2026) transferred several Whip Pink brand N2O gas cylinders from a warehouse in Pademangan, North Jakarta, to the INP Mobile Brigade warehouse in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java, for confiscation.
The transfer was carried out to secure evidence in the illegal Whip Pink gas production case uncovered by INP.
In a statement in Jakarta on Saturday (7/25/2026), Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation at INP's Criminal Investigation Agency, explained that his personnel had been carrying out the transfer since Friday morning (7/24/2026).
He continued, explaining that they had been at the warehouse to load all the evidence onto trucks.
"At 9:15 a.m., all Whip Pink cylinders of various sizes, production machines, and other supporting equipment for producing N2O gas were loaded onto the trucks," he said.
Police confiscated 71 items, including gas cylinders and supporting equipment for making Whip Pink.
After being loaded onto a truck, personnel immediately transported all the evidence to the warehouse. He continued, stating that the personnel arrived at the location at 4:40 PM and began loading the evidence into the warehouse.
"At 6:15 PM, all the evidence was unloaded and placed in the storage warehouse. It was then padlocked and guarded by personnel from the Kelapa Dua Cikeas Brimob," said Eko.
He assured that all the evidence would be strictly guarded by the Cikeas Brimob personnel.
In April 2026, the INP's Drugs Criminal Investigation Directorate successfully uncovered a factory producing Whip Pink brand N2O gas in Jakarta.
From the interrogation of nine witnesses, it was discovered that PT SSS, the manufacturer, did not yet have the legal documents and distribution permit from the BPOM (Indonesian Food and Drug Authority) for the production and sale of Whip Pink N2O gas.
Furthermore, it is known that the owners of the Whip Pink production and shipping warehouses are AH, SC, and JH. Whip Pink's warehouses are located in 10 cities, with a total of 16 warehouse locations, from Jakarta, Yogyakarta Special Region, to Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
During the investigation into this case, the police questioned several social media influencers who used Pink Whip. One influencer, identified as AM, claimed to have experienced temporary paralysis.
Eko stated that AM lost control of his limbs, particularly his legs, while being rushed to the hospital.
According to him, this is in line with expert statements from the Indonesian Ministry of Health regarding the impact of using N2O gas directly without strict supervision by medical personnel, namely that it can cause peripheral neuropathy.
