The Indonesian National Police is intensifying their effort in eradicating online gambling across the country, including West Java which has implored its citizen to not be tempted with the gambling promotions. “Considering there are many people who were trapped by the online gambling, we from the West Java Regional Police implore the community to not be tempted by the gambling ads,” says West Java Regional Police Public Relations Division Chief, Senior Superintendent Ibrahim Tompo. Ibrahim continued that everything in gambling has been rigged down to its core. Whatever happens in gambling is no coincidence. “People are also to be reminded to not get any ideas of going rich through gambling. There have not been any gamblers who got rich through gambling. Instead, we have received a lot of stories where most gamblers are struggling because of the loss they suffered,” warned Ibrahim. (ad/bg/pr/nm)
