Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Anti-terror Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) of Indonesian National Police (INP) secures terrorist suspect in Boyolali, Central Java. The Head of Boyolali Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Petrus Parningotan Silalahi explains that the full identity of the suspect have been revealed and secured by Densus 88. “This is the result from our previous case investigation, which is linked directly to it,” said Petrus referring to the arrest of 10 suspected terrorists in the province. Moreover, Petrus told that the arrest of the suspected terrorist was executed on Saturday (1/27/2024) noon, at around 11.00 am. Petrus continued that the link between the 10 suspected terrorist to the latest arrest cannot be revealed in detail publicly. “We cannot reveal the detail on the arrest as that is not within our authority. From what I heard, this arrest is still linked to yesterday’s arrest,” said Petrus. Previously, Densus 88 has uncovered the link of the 10 suspected terrorists arrested in Central Java to the Jamaah Islamiah (JI) network. The 10 suspect were arrested in Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Boyolali, and Surakarta. (ad/as/pr/nm)
