West Kalimantan Police Escort Vote Count Documents Delivery

The Preemptive Task Force of the Mantap Brata Kapuas 2024 Operation, under the West Kalimantan Regional Police, escorted the delivery of vote count recapitulation documents from the province's General Election Commission (KPU) to Supadio Pontianak Airport on Sunday (10/3/2024).
Led by Assistant Superintendent Paino, the Commander of the Guard, the operation involve a team of nine personnel from the West Kalimantan Police's Directorate of Security and Order (Samapta).
The team duties included securing the route for vehicles carrying election logistics, escorting vehicles carrying vote count recapitulation documents and monitoring access points around the KPU and the West Kalimantan Election Monitoring Body (Bawaslu) offices.
Chief Paino explained that the security measures extended to key figures, such as the KPU West Kalimantan chief and commissioners as well as the West Kalimantan Bawaslu chairman and members.
The West Kalimantan Police Head of Public Relations Unit, Senior Superintendent Raden Petit Wijaya emphasized that these security and escort services were crucial for ensuring a smooth electoral process.
"We are committed to overseeing every stage of the 2024 election. Today's operation aimed to relocate vote count recapitulation documents at the provincial level safely and efficiently," he said.
