Inp.polri.go.id - Padang. The West Sumatra Regional Police and the Padang Sub-regional Police secured and escorted the distribution of 2024 election logistics from Teluk Bayur Port, an official said on Tuesday (9/1/2024).
"The election logistics being escorted for distribution to districts and cities in West Sumatra include ballots for the presidential and vice presidential elections and ballots for legitaltive elections," said the Head of the West Sumatra Police Public Relations Unit Senior Superintendent Dwi Sulistyawan.
He explained said the logistics, transported by the KM Meratus Sampit ship, arrived at the Teluk Bayur port in Padang early on Tuesday morning.
All the containers containing the ballot papers were stored at the Teluk Bayur Port area and were distributed to the regency and cities immediately at 9 am after being thoroughly examined.
