Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) registered 220,227 passengers utilizing the Whoosh high-speed train during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 holidays. Eva Chairunisa, Corporate Secretary General Manager of KCIC, expressed gratitude for the public's interest in choosing Whoosh for year-end travel. She said on Wednesday (3/1/2024), "The increase is due to the growing demand from the public who chose Whoosh to enjoy the year-end holidays. This increased demand was accommodated by adding schedules up to 48 journeys per day by KCIC." Eva highlighted peak departures from Halim Station with 115,435 passengers, followed by Padalarang with 73,034 passengers, and Tegalluar with 31,758 passengers. The average daily Whoosh passengers during that period ranged from 19,000 to 20,000. "The highest number of passengers occurred on December 26, 2023, totaling 21,188," she added. Reporting 576 Whoosh journeys since December 22, 2023, she emphasized KCIC's commitment to providing smooth, safe, and punctual service.
