Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned toll operator PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded a total of 325,073 cars leaving Greater Jakarta between 21 and 22 March 2025, corresponding to H-10 and H-9 of Eid, reflecting a 29.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
“This figure represents cumulative traffic from four main toll gates: Cikampek Utama for Trans Java, Kalihurip Utama for Bandung, Cikupa for Merak, and Ciawi for Puncak.,” said PT Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication Head Lisye Octaviana on Sunday (23/3/2025).
Traffic movement was predominantly directed eastward, with 146,711 vehicles (45.1%) heading towards Trans Java and Bandung, while 102,016 vehicles (31.4%) traveled west towards Merak, and 76,346 vehicles (23.5%) moved south towards Puncak. Notably, traffic towards Trans Java via Cikampek Utama surged by 23.1%, while departures towards Puncak declined by 6.5% compared to normal levels. On March 22 alone, total departures reached 167,164 vehicles, reflecting a 0.8% increase from standard traffic levels.
Commenting on the trend, Lisye noted that traffic towards Trans Java surged by 36%, signaling heightened travel activity in anticipation of the holiday period.
