Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Jakarta operation branch confirmed on Sunday (9/202/25) that 73,600 long-distance train tickets for the 2025 Eid Al-Fitr holiday travel period from 21 to 26 March 2025 have been booked.

According to PT KAI Jakarta spokesperson Ixfan Hendriwintoko, 25 March 205 25, or six day before the Eid Al-Fitr day, recorded the highest demand, with 15,674 tickets sold. Ticket sales began on 4 February 2025, following a phased schedule.

“As of today, Eid tickets for departures between 21 and 26 March 2025 are available through the KAI Access app and other official channels,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com.

Ixfan urges passengers to purchase tickets only through official channels to avoid fraud. Station ticket counters will only sell go-show tickets three hours before departure.
