Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman has ordered the sealing and potential closure of three Minyakita producers after an inspection on Saturday (8/3/2025) at Pasar Lenteng Agung market in South Jakarta, found their packaged cooking oil underfilled and overpriced.
The affected brands—PT Artha Eka Global Asia, Koperasi Produsen UMKM Koperasi Terpadu Nusantara (KTN), and PT Tunasagro Indolestari—labeled their products as 1 liter but contained only 750 to 800 milliliters. The oil was also being sold at Rp 18,000 per liter, exceeding the government’s Rp 15,700 price cap.
Minister Amran called the practice fraudulent and urged immediate legal action, coordinating with the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency’s Economic Crimes Unit.
"If violations are confirmed, these companies must be shut down and their licenses revoked," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Authorities have pledged stricter monitoring and urged consumers to report irregularities in Minyakita cooking oil sales.
