Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has confirmed the resolution of the Bekasi sea fence case, with an administrative fine of Rp 2 billion fully paid by the company involved.
Director General of Marine and Fisheries Resources Surveillance Pung Nugroho Saksono said on Sunday (2/3/2025) that PT Tunas Ruang Pelabuhan Nusantara (TRPN) had settled the penalty for illegally erecting a sea fence in Bekasi.
“The administrative fine was received by KKP on Friday (Feb 28),” he confirmed, as quoted by antaranews.com.
PT TRPN was found in violation of maritime space utilization regulations, including unauthorized reclamation and dredging without the required PKKPRL approval. The company independently dismantled the fence and cooperated fully.
The Ministry had previously sealed the reclamation and sea fence construction, citing violations of Law No. 6/2023, which establishes Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (PPPU) No. 2/2022 on Job Creation as Law.
