Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Corps Commander, Commissioner General Imam Widodo, announced a plan to allocate 10 hectares of land in Karawang, West Java, as a dedicated burial site for the wives of the INP officers.

"This is our tribute and appreciation for the significant role Bhayangkari (wives of police officers) play. The burial will be free of charge," he said during a meeting with the Big Family of Sons and Daughters of the Indonesian National Police.(KBPP Polri) Chairwoman Evita Nursanty at Brimob Headquarters, Depok, on Thursday (22/5).

Commander Imam emphasized that the support of police wives has been essential to the effective performance of police duties across Indonesia. While details on the exact location and timeline remain undisclosed, the initiative received full support from KBPP Polri.

The meeting also covered KBPP Polri’s support for President Prabowo Subianto’s free nutritious meals program, with Commander Imam affirming the INP’s commitment to back government initiatives and encouraging police families to take active roles.
