Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Ticket prices for intercity buses departing from Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal will rise by 20-30% starting Monday (17/3/2025), according to terminal authorities.
Fares for routes to Central and East Java will see the most significant increases, ranging from Rp 600,000 to Rp7 00,000 per passenger, depending on bus service quality.
"Previously, tickets were Rp 400,000, but premium intercity buses set their own pricing," said Mujib Tambrin, the terminal's operational supervisor, as reported by antaranews.com.
The peak travel period is expected seven days before Eid al-Fitr, which is expected on 1 April 2025, with passenger numbers possibly reaching 15,000—a 3-5% increase from the previous year.
"If demand surges, we are prepared to deploy backup buses," Mujib added.
