inp.polri.go.id - Kediri. Welcoming the 2576 Lunar New Year celebration, the Kediri City Sub-regional Police provided security at strategic locations, especially temples which were predicted to be crowded with people celebrating the holiday.

Led directly by the Kediri Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Bramastyo Priaji, along with the Vice Police Chief, and other high officials monitor the locations to ensure the security.

“We are boosting our patrol and security around places of worship to ensure safety and comfort of the people celebrating the holiday,” says Bramastyo on Tuesday (1/28/2025).

Bramastyo Priaji said that he had alerted a total of 159 personnel in anticipation of the long holiday. Also,in security to welcome the Chinese New Year 2576 Kongzili celebration at the Tjoe Hwie Kiong Temple, 62 personnel were deployed.

Bramastyo also added that this action aims to maintain the smooth running of community activities during Chinese New Year celebrations.

"We are working with various parties to regulate traffic flow so as not to disturb the comfort of the general public," concluded Bramastyo.
