Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The Damai Cartenz 2024 Task Force has arrested Oni Enumbi, a key member of the Puncak Jaya Armed Criminal Group (KKB). near Warong Biru, in front of the Puncak Jaya Police Office in Mulia City, at 11.15 am. local time on Wednesday (27/11/2024).

"Oni Enumbi, also known as Mamberamo or Bumiwalo, is a member of the KKB led by Ternus Enumbi. He was arrested in a planned operation earlier today," said Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, the Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force.

Damai Cartenz Task Force e spokesperson Senior Superintendent Bayu Suseno revealed that Oni Enumbi was wanted for his involvement in the deadly attack on Elang Task Force personnel on March 17, 2024, in Kulirik Village. 

"The arrest was based on a wanted notice issued in April and linked to a police report filed earlier this year," he added.

Oni Enumbi is now in custody at the task force headquarters in Puncak Jaya, where investigators are questioning him about his involvement in various criminal activities in the region.
