Inp.polri.go.id - Yalimo. The 2025 Operation Damai Cartenz Task Force has seized crucial evidence linked to a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Nikson Matuan, who is also known as Okoni Siep, as part of an ongoing legal investigation. 

The recovered items—a black shirt and black pants—were confiscated during a raid on Monday (10/2/2025), led by Investigation Task Force Head Senior Inspector Suheriadi.

A joint team of 20 officers, including intelligence and criminal investigation officers, departed from the Law Enforcement Post at 1.35 pm local time and proceeded to Matuan’s residence in Aluis Village, Yalimo. The operation was carried out smoothly without incident.

Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, the Commander of Cartenz Peace Ops, emphasized that the evidence collection followed strict legal procedures. “

This is a vital step in our investigation, conducted transparently while prioritizing a humane approach,” he said.

Authorities urged the public to remain calm and not be misled by unverified information, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining security and upholding the rule of law in Papua.
