inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of Commission X of Indonesian House of Representatives, Heitfah appreciates the quick steps of the National Police in uncovering the counterfeit money printing case operating in the library of the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"We highly appreciate the law enforcement officers, especially the police for their success in uncovering the counterfeit money case operating in the UIN Alauddin Makassar Campus," said Hetifah on Wednesday (18/12/2024).

She urged law enforcement officers to truly dismantle the syndicate involved in the case. According to her, this is important to prevent the emergence of a bad image in educational institutions due to the case.

"We ask the police to immediately reveal who is involved, so as to avoid the emergence of speculation that could harm the image of educational institutions," continued Hetifah.

She hopes that the case can be a lesson for all parties to increase supervision of various activities on their campuses.

"We hope that this case can be a lesson for everyone, especially the campus management. We would also like to remind all parties to increase supervision of activities on campus, as well as maintain public trust in the world of education," concluded Hetifah.
