Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati announced on Wednesday (30/4/2025) a sharp Rp 200 trillion increase in state revenue in March 2025, signaling economic recovery.

“In just one month, state revenue rose by Rp 200 trillion,” she said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

State revenue had reached Rp 516.1 trillion by the end of March this year, up from Rp316.9 trillion in February. A key driver was a rebound in tax revenue, which jumped from Rp 187.8 trillion in February to Rp 322.6 trillion in March.

Deputy Finance Minister Anggito Abimanyu said gross tax revenue grew 7.6%, while net revenue—after refunds—rose 3.5% year-on-year.

“Both gross and net revenue recorded positive growth,” he noted.

Growth in income tax (PPh 21) and value-added tax contributed to the increase, supported by higher employee income and fewer tax compensations. Improvements in tax administration and Coretax implementation also played a role, alongside customs and excise (Rp 77.5 trillion) and non-tax revenue (Rp 115.9 trillion).
