Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati reinforced cooperation with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in key sectors aligned with President Prabowo Subianto’s priorities.

During a meeting with AIIB President Jin Liqun at the Directorate General of Taxes office in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/3/2025), she highlighted Indonesia’s focus on food security, energy security, and natural resource management.

"We agreed to continue collaboration in priority sectors," Minister Sri Mulyani said, emphasizing AIIB’s role in supporting Indonesia’s social development.

Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo also met with Jin Liqun, advocating for AIIB’s investment expansion into disaster-prone areas to enhance emergency funding readiness.

Minister Dody stressed the importance of a mutual benefit and responsibility approach to optimize infrastructure financing. He cited the Strategic Irrigation Modernization and Urgent Rehabilitation Project (SIMURP) as an ongoing AIIB-supported initiative, as reported by antaranews.com.
