inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The Food Task Force of South Kalimantan Regional Police inspects and checks on basic needs at the Antasari Sentra Market, Monday (6/23/2025).
Led by the Senior Police Inspector Suparli, the activity aims to maintain price stability and the availability of the supplies in the market.
The operation involves checks on several important commodities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs, and chicken meat. The team also coordinates with the merchants and supply distributor to ensure no hoarding practice or other practices that are detrimental to consumers.
“We want to ensure that the price of the basic needs is balanced and according to the Highest Retail Price from the government,” says Suparli.
According to the team’s inspection, most commodity prices at the Antasari Sentra Market are still within the normal range, although there has been a slight increase in prices. The police will continue to monitor price developments and are ready to take firm action if violations are found.
