inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reported the results of the online gambling (judol) handling desk to President Prabowo Subianto. This was conveyed at the Region Unit Head Assembly at Semarang Police Academy, Central Java.

General Sigit revealed that the online gambling eradication desk had been formed on November 4th, 2024. Since its formation, billions of confiscated money have been successfully secured.

"There have been 789 cases uncovered involving 397 suspects, and confiscated evidence worth IDR 220 billion after taking down 32,322 gambling sites," said General Sigit on Wednesday (12/11/2024).

On the other hand, General Sigit also revealed that a drug eradication desk, since its formation, has succeeded in saving 10 million lives.

"With the achievement of uncovering 3,608 cases involving 3,965 suspects and evidence worth Rp2.88 trillion, we estimated to have saved more than 10 million lives from the dangers of drug abuse," explained General Sigit.
