Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reported to President Prabowo Subianto on the efforts of the police to support food self-sufficiency. This was conveyed by General Sigit in the Regional Head Unit Assembly at Semarang Police Academy, Central Java.
"Until now, there are 13,217 hectares of land ready to be used for agricultural, livestock and fisheries locations," said General Sigit on Wednesday (12/11/2024).
According to General Sigit, there are also 7,471 yards that have been converted into productive land.
General Sigit further explained that in supporting food self-sufficiency, the Police have recruited Special Competence NCOs to manage the fields of agriculture, livestock, fisheries, nutrition, and public health.
"We are adjusting all of this to support the food security goal, Sir," reportGeneral Sigit to President Prabowo.
