Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian women's singles badminton player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung achieved a historic milestone by winning her first Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 500 title at the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023 on Sunday (19/11/2023).
In an official statement released by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), she commented, "I am very happy because this is my first championship title at the BWF Super 500 level; I cannot express it with words".
Gregoria secured her victory by defeating China's Chen Yu Fei by a remarkable 21-12, 21-12 score in the women's singles final that lasted 40 minutes. This achievement marked a significant milestone in her badminton career, antaranews.com reported.
