Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesian women's singles badminton player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung achieved a historic milestone by winning her first Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 500 title at the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2023 on Sunday (19/11/2023). In an official statement released by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), she commented, "I am very happy because this is my first championship title at the BWF Super 500 level; I cannot express it with words". Gregoria secured her victory by defeating China's Chen Yu Fei by a remarkable 21-12, 21-12 score in the women's singles final that lasted 40 minutes. This achievement  marked a significant milestone in her badminton career, antaranews.com reported. Sharing insights into her key to success against the world number three, she asserted the importance of staying calm during the match and  practice.
