Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police (INP) recently organized a discussion that focused on the exemplary character of Hoegeng on Tuesday (16/5/23).

During the discussion, the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP Inspector General Sandi Nugroho elaborated on the purpose behind the discussion, expressing the hope that the current police personnel would wholeheartedly embrace the values of exemplary conduct exemplified by Hoegeng. By embodying these commendable qualities, the INP can effectively foster a culture of integrity.

"The significance of an event like this lies in its ability to stimulate all levels of the INP to embrace the values of leadership epitomized by Hoegeng, serving as the underlying spirit of transformation," he said.

He highlighted that the upcoming Hoegeng Award 2023, scheduled to be announced on July 14, as it seeks to discover and celebrate individuals who embody the spirit of the "New Hoegeng." The primary objective of this event is to ignite a sense of inspiration among members of the INP, encouraging them to fulfill their duties and responsibilities with unwavering dedication and wholehearted commitment, he explained.

"The spirit of emulating Hoegeng in this era is manifested in the transformation towards INP Presisi as a 'standard of excellence'. This ambitious agenda is essential in realizing a more integrated, modern, convenient, and efficient police service," he said.

These efforts align with one of the core commitments of Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo who emphasizes the importance of leadership that not only serves but also sets an exemplary precedent.
