Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s U-17 national team will face Brazil, Honduras, and Zambia in Group H of the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, following the official group draw announced by FIFA early Monday morning (26/5/2025).

The draw presents a formidable challenge for Indonesia, with Brazil, a four-time U-17 World Cup champion, as the group’s clear favorite. Brazil holds the second-most titles in tournament history after Nigeria (five).

Both Honduras and Zambia will make their debut appearances in the final tournament, adding an unpredictable dynamic to the group.

The 2025 edition, hosted by Qatar from 3 to 27 November 2024, marks the first implementation of a 48-team format, expanded from the previous 24. Matches will be played across eight cutting-edge stadiums in the Aspire Zone, Doha, culminating in the final at Khalifa International Stadium, as reported by antaranews.com.

Meanwhile, defending champions Germany are placed in Group G alongside Colombia, North Korea, and El Salvador, while 2023 runner-up France finds itself in Group K with Chile, Canada, and Uganda.

Indonesia qualified for the tournament after an impressive 4-1 victory over Yemen earlier this year.
