Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has officially partnered with KONAMI Group Corporation, a Japanese multinational entertainment company that develops and publishes video games, and operates sports clubs and fitness centers,  to bring the Indonesian national team into the eFootball game franchise, giving fans an authentic digital football experience.

In a press conference on Tuesday (8/4/2025), Junichi Taya, KONAMI’s General Producer, announced that players like Marselino Ferdinan, Rizky Ridho, and Sandy Walsh will now appear in the game with accurate likenesses, jerseys, and the national anthem.

“Football is a shared passion and cultural force that unites millions. We felt the incredible support for the national team here and are excited to bring that spirit into eFootball,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com.

This partnership makes Indonesia one of the few Asian nations officially licensed in eFootball, both on mobile and console versions.

Marsal Masita, the Director of Garuda Sepakbola Indonesia (GSI), called the deal “more than just revenue—it’s recognition,” adding that the partnership strengthens Indonesia’s presence not only on the field but in the global digital arena.
