inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has launched a comprehensive transformation and reform agenda which not only changes the physical aspects and bureaucratic structure, but also a transformation of values.

The Head of INP Transformation and Reform Team, Commissioner General Chryshnanda Dwilaksana, emphasized that the transformation encompasses morals, humanity, openness, and improving public services. 

He emphasized that this step is part of INP's efforts to continue to bring goodness, make improvements, and enhance the quality of policing.

"This transformation is the courage to learn from the past, correct mistakes, face challenges and expectations of society today, and prepare for a better future," explained Chryshnanda, Tuesday (9/23/2025).

He added that INP recognizes that its policing must be able to demonstrate precise work quality. Furthermore, law enforcement is not just about punishment, but building civilization and resolving conflicts in a civilized manner. 

Furthermore, Chryshnanda emphasized the importance of the police's role in maintaining stability.

"The police are also present to prevent conflicts from escalating, as well as to provide protection, care, and services to victims and those seeking justice," he said.

Police transformation, said Chrysnanda, is also part of building a culture of order and legal certainty. Thus, the police are expected to become more professional, humane, and able to respond to the demands of the times.
