Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has urged Eid Al-Fitr holiday travelers to inform the nearest police offices about their vacant homes to ensure security during their absence.

"We remind everyone who is leaving their homes for the holiday to notify the police so we can include them in our patrols and provide protection," he said on Monday (17/3/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The INP has launched Operation Ketupat 2025 , which will run from 23 March 2025  for 17 days in key regions such as Lampung to Bali, while 28 other regional police will conduct a 14-day operation starting 26 March 2025.

Traffic measures, including a one-way system and restrictions on heavy vehicles, will be implemented to ease congestion.

The INP has also launched a hotline service at 110, allowing travelers to seek assistance throughout the Eid holiday period.
