inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo welcomes the visit of PBNU Head of Welfare, Alissa Wahid, at INP Headquarters, Wednesday (2/12/2025).
The meeting discussed cooperation related to handling violence in Islamic boarding schools.
"We are very honored to welcome the visit of Alissa, who I think is quite well-known in the media as a humanitarian activist. On the one hand, today, she represents NU to talk about MoU related to violent incidents that occurred in Islamic boarding schools," said General Listyo.
In their discussion about the violent incident, INP Chief noted that the issue has become one of the main focuses of the police institution.
“Therefore, we also balance this by continuing to grow or expand organizations or work units that specifically handle issues related to violence against women and children, which today occurs in Islamic boarding schools," said General Sigit.
Following the meeting, General Sigit committed to immediately completing the MoU on handling the islamic boarding schools violence.
"We will immediately take quick steps to realize the MoU so that it can be implemented immediately," said the Chief of Police.
