inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho states that INP Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo committed to give reward and punishment to all of his ranks fairly. Continuous evaluation will also be carried out by the Police General.
Sandi continued that constructive criticism is always well received in order to continue to advance the institution. In fact, this has been conveyed by the Chief of Police since the initial briefing of police members.
"Chief Sigit has conveyed to all of us that every successful police member will receive a reward and every police member who commits a violation will be punished according to the applicable rules," explained Sandi at the Main Meeting Room of INP HQ on Wednesday (2/12/2025).
According to Sandi, for every violation committed by a police member, the Chief of Police will give strict sanctions and will not protect those who have harmed the dignity of the institution, as proof of police's transparency.
Sandi also noted that the police are one of the noble professions. There are 460,000 members who work hard transparently, professionally, and also bring honor to the institution and the country in the world arena.
"Any profession is good and noble, including the police profession. So it should not be tarnished by certain members who want to tarnish the police institution. It is our duty to honor the police profession by taking firm action against all related individuals who tarnished it according to applicable regulations," said the Head of Public Relations.
