Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) is cutting budgets for meetings and official travel in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive on fiscal efficiency.

The INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General. Sandi Nugroho said on Wednesday (12/2/2025) that INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has repeatedly reinforced this commitment, including at the recent Indonesian Military (TNI)-INP leadership meeting.

The budget reallocation aims to fund more impactful programs while ensuring efficient spending.

For 2025, the INP faces a Rp 20.5 trillion budget cut, as mandated by Presidential Instruction No. 1/2025 on national and regional budget efficiency.

The INP original Rp 126.6 trillion budget has been restructured to Rp 106 trillion, mainly affecting goods and capital expenditures while safeguarding personnel costs, according to antaranews.com.

The INP is currently reviewing its budget priorities to maximize operational effectiveness amid the reductions.
