Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Criminal Investigation Agency questioned a Gojek ride-hailing driver suspected of delivering a terror object to the Tempo media office in South Jakarta.
“This driver is being questioned today,” said Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, the Director of General Crimes, on Thursday (10/4/2025).
He revealed that the delivery trail was disconnected—the Gojek driver received the item from a Grab driver. The origin of the object remains unclear and under investigation.
Police investigators have reviewed multiple CCTV recordings and questioned eight witnesses so far. The investigation was temporarily halted due to Eid security operations but has since resumed.
“Hopefully, this will shed light on the case. We are continuing our investigation,” Chief DJuhandhani said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The case involves suspected threats and obstruction of journalistic work, potentially violating the Criminal Code and the Press Law.
