Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati was confident that the State Budget (APBN) remains under control, even as it posted a Rp 104.2 trillion deficit as of March 2025.

“Don’t worry, the APBN isn’t falling apart,” she said during the Economic Forum with the President in Jakarta on Thursday (10/4/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The deficit equals 0.43% of GDP— far below the 2025 target of 2.53%. Government revenue reached Rp 516.1 trillion (17.2% of target), while spending hit Rp 620.3 trillion (17.1%).

Revenue sources include R p400.1 trillion from taxes and Rp 115.9 trillion from non-tax income. March saw a rebound in tax receipts, reaching Rp 170.7 trillion after a February dip.

Spending was allocated through central government disbursements of Rp413.2 trillion and transfers to regions totaling Rp207.1 trillion. Key expenditures included civil servant holiday bonuses, social assistance, pensions, subsidies, and compensation.

Despite the deficit, the primary balance remains positive at Rp17.5 trillion, signaling a stable fiscal position in managing debt and spending.
