Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps is shifting its 2025 focus toward preventive measures to improve traffic safety, reduce accidents, and enhance public awareness.
“This year, we will prioritize preemptive and preventive actions, involving all Korlantas directorates,” said the INP Traffic Corps Director of Law Enforcement Brigadier GeneralRaden Slamet Santoso on Tuesday (7/1/2025).
The 2025 agenda includes reducing traffic violations and fatalities, alleviating congestion, and preparing for major operations like Operasi Zebra and holiday traffic management.
Early preparation, data analysis from past operations, and the adoption of upgraded technology are central strategies.
The Traffic Corps will also support government programs by distributing nutritious meals and incorporating traffic safety education for children through initiatives like Polisi Sahabat Anak and Safety Riding, according to antaranews.com.
