Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Ivan Volovod and Mykyta Volovod, twin brothers from Ukraine, face life imprisonment for operating a drug lab and factory in North Kuta, Bali.

During a hearing at Denpasar District Court on Tuesday (7/1/2025), prosecutor Ramdhoni demanded the court declare the defendants guilty of violating Article 113(2) and Article 132(1) of the narcotics law for manufacturing and trafficking narcotics.

The prosecutor argued their actions supported international drug networks and undermined Indonesia’s anti-drug programs. 

The only mitigating factor noted was their respectful behavior during the trial.

The case will proceed with a defense plea hearing on 14 January 2025.
