Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate is set to conduct two-week Operation Zebra Jaya scheduled to commence Monday (18/9/23) in a bid to enhance traffic security, safety, order, and flow.
"Kamseltibcar Towards Peaceful 2024 Elections," it was announced at the social media account of the Traffic Directorate, referring to the traffic security, safety, order, and flow.
The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps has implemented a two-week long Operation Zebra 2023 from September 4 to September 17, 2023. The nationwide operations applied across Indonesia.
During Operation Zebra Jaya 2023, at least 15 traffic violations are targeted, including:
- Motorists driving against the flow of traffic
- Drivers under the influence of alcohol
- Drivers using mobile phones while driving
- Failure to wear SNI-certified helmets
- Failure to use seat belts
- Exceeding speed limits
- Riding with more than one passenger
- Underage drivers without a valid license
- Motor vehicles with two or more wheels that do not meet roadworthy standards
- Motor vehicles without valid vehicle registration certificates
- Violating road markings
- Motorcycles or four-wheeled vehicles lacking standard equipment
- Installing sirens on vehicles for unauthorized purposes
- Enforcement against four-wheeled vehicles using secret license plates
