Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.J akarta is set to host the 2025 Formula E-Prix at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in Ancol on 21 June 2025.

It will mark the debut of the Gen3 Evo, a revolutionary electric race car capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.86 seconds—faster than a Formula 1 car.

"After successfully hosting previous editions, Jakarta is ready to deliver an even more thrilling race with the debut of Gen3 Evo," said Jakarta E-Prix 2025 Project Director Deni Rifky Purwana on Wednesday (19/3/2025).

The Gen3 Evo features increased power output to 400kW, all-wheel drive for the first time in Formula E history, and a more aggressive aerodynamic design. It also comes with softer iON Race tires for improved grip and faster warm-up.

“Jakarta E-Prix will be extraordinary, redefining electric racing,” said Formula E Operations Project Director Gemma Roura, as quoted by antaranews.com.
