Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Justice Supratman Andi Agtas said on Friday (21/3/2025) that those opposing the newly enacted Indonesian Military (TNI) Law can challenge it through a judicial review at the Constitutional Court.
"This process will determine whether the concerns raised are truly fundamental," he said at the Presidential Palace complex, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Minister Supratman emphasized that judicial review is a constitutional mechanism allowing citizens to examine laws passed by the House of Representatives (DPR) and the government. He urged the public to allow the law's implementation first and use legal channels if objections arise.
The minister dismissed concerns that the law reinstates TNI’s dual function, asserting that it sets clear limits on military personnel holding civilian positions
