Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. A series of ongoing violence cases perpetrated by the Armed Criminal group (KKB) has significantly deepened the crisis of human rights violations in Papua, a Papua figure, Yonas Nusy, has warned on Sunday (24//9/2023)
Yonas Nusy, the Papuan leader, asserted that the KKB is unequivocally responsible for these grave human rights abuses in Papua.
Nusy implores the Papua community not to be swayed by the KKB's actions, emphasizing that their prolonged struggle has yielded no tangible results but instead squandered valuable time and energy. It is a stark reminder of the falsehood inherent in their cause.
"As Papua figures, we earnestly beseech the community to maintain peace and security in Papua, ensuring the region remains safe and comfortable for everyone," he said.
In a recent series of cases, KKB has involved in the murder of a female activist, the kidnapping of a Susi Air pilot, shootings and buring government facilities in the Bintang MountainsRegency. The escalation of violence and human rights violations by the KKB in Papua has raised a grave concern, particularly among Papuans.
