He said that large-scale patrols have also been conducted from morning to night to prevent unwanted incidents and ensure the safety of the community. The Gorontalo Regional Police have deployed 1,200 personnel and received support from the Indonesian Military. In addition, 2 teams of Mobile Brigade units from the North Sulawesi Regional Police also continued on high alert  mode at the Pohuwato Sub-regional Police and on call to be deployed if the Gorontalo Regional Police require security assistance.
