Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo has urged M. Fadil Imran, the newly elected head of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI), to develop a clear roadmap for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
During the closing of the PBSI National Conference in Surabaya on Saturday (10/8/2024), he stressed the importance of starting this planning immediately.
“I expect the roadmap for the 2028 Olympics to be established from day one,” Minister Dito said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Minister Dito highlighted the government’s strong commitment and support to badminton, Indonesia’s premier sport, and emphasized the need for effective planning and collaboration.
He also encouraged partnerships with the private sector and modernization of the Cipayung National Training Center.
In response, Chairman Fadil raised his commitment to leading PBSI with a focus on unity and teamwork. He invited feedback and criticism to help advance the sport and make badminton a source of national pride.
