inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin emphasized that the national strategy carried out by his party is a strategy that sides with the Indonesian people.

"Our national strategy is to side with the people," said Sjafrie on  Monday (11/25/2024).

The Minister of Defense also said that his party always maintains and secure the economic development carried out by the government, by paying attention to a number of phenomena that are currently emerging. Among them, online gambling, smuggling, and drugs.

"We also anticipate the security of the implementation of government programs for food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, and securing economic development, in this case downstreaming," said the Minister of Defense.

He emphasized that a dominant defense force is needed to uphold and maintain Indonesia's sovereignty, and national stability is needed to be able to protect national development.

"So that economic development can fulfill the partisanship of the people who really expect the government's partisanship," said the Minister of Defense.

Finally, he emphasized his institution's commitment to maintaining and securing the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia and overseeing government policies assigned to the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.

"Determined to continue to oversee the national policies assigned to us, especially the government's partisanship of the Indonesian people," concluded the Minister of Defense.
