inp.polri.go.id - East Flores. The assigned personnel of Aman Nusa II in Konga Post cleans up the road covered by the Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki volcanic ash around Boru, Wulanggitang, East Flores Regency to ensure that the road is safe to be used by the transportation on Sunday (11/17/2024).
Not only cleaning the road, personnel also appeal to the people to always use masks when doing activities outside their home to protect themselves from the ash.
The Head of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ariasandy explains that the activity is part of the police quick acts in helping the community affected by the disaster.
“The road cleaning aims to ensure that the transportation access remains smooth while also reducing the risks of dangers on healths due to the volcanic ash,” said Ariasandy.
This activity shows the commitment of the National Police through the Aman Nusa II Task Force in providing direct assistance to communities affected by natural disasters.
Not only cleaning the roads, personnel in the field are also actively providing other support such as distributing logistical assistance and education related to disaster mitigation.
With this quick action and concern, it is hoped that the community in the area affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi can return to their activities safely and comfortably.
