inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The East Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police formed Bhayangkara Jakarta Asri Task Force, or Bang Jasri in short, to strengthen public security and order during Ramadan.
“These Ramadan vibes that are full of blessing should be marked with real actions, such as the activity of Bang Jasri,” noted the Chief of East Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Alfian Nurrizal on Tuesday (2/24/2026).
In Bang Jasri movement, police personnel were seen to clean the Jami Assalafiyah Pangeran Jayakarta Mosque in Pulogadung, East Jakarta.
“This activity represents our attention to the hygiene of places of worship while also getting closer with the local community in the area,” continued Alfian.
The 49 personnel were seen to clean the mosque, from the ablution area, the pulpit, and the surrounding area, including the Pangeran Jayakarta Tomb.
In addition, police personnel repainted the walls and installed acrylic signs to improve the people’s comfort during prayer.
Through Bang Jasri, the East Jakarta Metro Police reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a soft approach, strengthening the values of mutual cooperation, and ensuring a safe and conducive public order situation throughout Ramadan in East Jakarta.
