inp.polri.go.id - Sarmi. In welcoming the 2025 Homecoming Season, Sarmi Sub-regional Police conducted a safe homecoming socialization by providing an appeal to the people through a banner at the Sarmi port.

Led directly by Head Operations of the Traffic Unit, Second Police Inspector Aksani Taqwim, the police played an active role in providing safe homecoming messages to the port officials and the people 

“As part of the safe homecoming campaign, we installed a banner at the entrance to the Sarmi port pier with the aim of making the public aware of the homecoming tips given by the Sarmi Police Chief,” says Aksani on Saturday (3/22/2025).

Taqwim emphasized that this activity aims to provide education to the public regarding the importance of safety during the homecoming trip.

"We want to ensure that people can travel safely and comfortably and urge them to always obey the rules on the ship and call 110 if they need help on the trip," said Taqwim

Taqwim also reminded people to make sure they are in good condition before leaving and not force themselves to board the ship if the ship is full in order to maintain the safety of themselves and their families.
