Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. President Prabowo Subianto announced a plan to increase judges’ salaries to curb bribery and ensure proper enforcement of the law.
“I’m planning to raise judges’ salaries so they can’t be bribed or bought—so the law is truly upheld,” he said during a National Education Day even on Friday (2/5/2025).
The president emphasized the need to protect Indonesia’s wealth and ensure it benefits the people, calling on officials and bureaucrats to serve with integrity. Het also outlined broader plans to improve public welfare, including raising compensation for civil servants, teachers, and public officials.
“Our goal is to deliver the best results—quickly. Not just the best in theory, but the best with clear, timely solutions,” President Prabowo said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He stressed that good governance is essential to accelerate improvements in sectors like education, asserting that Indonesia’s resources must be managed independently to fund quality education for all.
