inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Football Team manager Shin Tae-yong (STY) has officially been sacked by the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), as per the announcement of PSSI Chair, Erick Thohir.
“We are very grateful for the best work and dedication of coach STY for the past five years. We are still good friends and we will do our best in working on the program that have been planned,” says Erick Thohir.
“The dynamics of our national football team is our main focus in our evaluation. We saw that we need a leader that can implement the strategies that are agreed by all parties, better communication and of course a better program for our national team,” continued Erick.
Shin Tae-yong has managed the Indonesian National Football Team since December 28th, 2019, replacing Simon McMenemy. He was under contract for four years and has become the first South Korean to coach the Indonesian National Football Team.
